Hello, I am Heather Cofer Bloom. I am thirty-nine and I am a multimedia student at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Washington. My motto is “Making it Awkward since 1984.” And the words I live by is “any act of kindness matters, no matter how small.”
Hero’s
I have a few heroes in real life, and I will begin by revealing my favorite one, Austin Perine. When he was four years old, he was in the car with his parents driving by a homeless shelter and noticed how sad the people that were living there were. He decided to work for an allowance and took the money to Burger King and bought cheeseburgers to pass them out at the homeless shelter. As he did, he said to not forget to pass the love. He did this every week and Burger King caught word and decided to chip in. His parents have since set up the pass the love foundation which supports helping the homeless.
values in friendships
What I value most in friendships is humor, honesty, and kindness. It is important to have these qualities. I could not be friends with someone who cannot laugh with me, life would be very boring without humor. Honesty is especially important because it is not cool spending time with someone who is not honest. I would not be able to believe anything they say. If it were the other way around and someone thinks I am not to be trusted, that would not be a good feeling. Kindness is just an important thing for me. I do not like to be around people who are mean. The documentary about me would have to be poetic because I love poetry, and I would love to inspire people to promote kindness.
