Narrator-
In a small forgotten town nestled amidst beautiful mountains, rocky beaches and an abundance of green trees, there stood an old alcohol plant. It stood empty, its once bustling machinery silent and still. Time had taken its toll on the building, and weeds grew rampant where productivity had once thrived. But little did anyone know that this abandoned relic would soon transform into something extraordinary.
, a group of dreamers possessed a shared belief in the power of community. They longed to bring life and vibrancy back to the old plant and recognized the potential that lay within the abandoned plant.
With determination in their eyes, they set out to transform the old plant into something truly remarkable—a hotel, restaurant, art gallery and a venue that would not only provide a haven for weary travelers but also give back to the community.
Bayside housing is in the second building, and it is housing members of the community that do not have a place to stay.
The Old Alcohol plant supports bayside housing, which is a nonprofit transitional housing organization that provides housing to those who either face homelessness or are already homeless.
Proceeds from hotel stays, the restaurant, gallery and events go into bayside housing. Bayside has expanded its services and is now working on additional temporary housing, and permanent housing services for those who are suffering from homelessness.
It is bayside mission to strengthen the community through housing and support services.
If you or someone you know wants to help or donate, please go to baysidehousing.org.
There are donor events every month in the gallery when you choose to donate.
