History of the mic drop

Drop the mic, a true legend.

In today’s world where social media has been the go-to for well, anything one phrase has become the face of self-expression “Drop the mic”. This powerful expression has become a symbol of confidence. But where did it start? Does anyone really know? I do! One of the earliest mics dropped on film comes in Eddie Murphy’s 1983 stand-up special Delirious.  After that everyone has done t, but the most famous one was when President Obama did it.  Here is my video doing the mic drop.
