Lilys father was her rock, and her guided light. He provided love support, and he was her best friend. But when he passed away her world came crashing down. She had her mom and sister, but she lost all hope, especially when they became homeless. She feels like she is in a deep hole and the walls are made of slime. Every time she tries to climb out, she slides back down. And when she finally gets to the top and finally is about to climb out , someone or something kicks her back down. But do not worry, she does not let this define her. She knows she deserves a better life. With the support of transitional housing lily and her family find themselves with shelter and access to resources to help them get back on their feet. This story is a reminder that even in the darkest times there is always hope. Lily will rewrite her story for a brighter future for herself. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression just know you are not alone and please seek someone. There is always hope.
